Sculpture

The original success of the foundry stems from a dedication to produce the highest quality bronze sculpture. This has been achieved by combining traditional lost wax casting techniques with modern materials. Using silicone rubber moulds, specially blended casting waxes and the finest possible investment techniques, sculpture is nurtured through the casting process. At the critical stage of finishing and patination, interaction with the foundry brings the artist's work to fruition.

Our premises are equipped to cater for the miniature to the monumental and our clients include some of the country's foremost artists working in bronze. Conservation and Restoration

Powderhall Bronze offers a comprehensive maintenance programme to care for outdoor sculpture and monumental artworks. The conservation of existing statues and monuments is vitally important. Using specialist knowledge and experience in traditional patination techniques, we are able to restore bronze castings to their original appearance.
