Foundry Tours & Team Away Days

Take a tour around our foundry with directors Kerry Hammond and Brian Caster. Along the way they will explain how we use the ancient lost wax casting process to create our bronze sculptures and give an insight into some current foundry projects.

The tour will last for approximately an hour and a half and will end with a glass of wine or soft drink and opportunity to ask any questions.

The tour route is wheelchair accessible and chairs will be placed throughout the space for those who would prefer to be seated. There is limited parking available in our yard and further on-street parking.

Team Away Days

A Scottish Government Team Away day in November 2019 at Powderhall Bronze.

‘ I really enjoyed the away day and thought the highlight was the Sculptures of each other. It was good to spend time in a partnership with only one colleague, but be within an enclosed room ‘safe space’ with all the team together. Which allowed for folk to communicate and make light hearted, good natured comments to each other across the floor.’
