The Macallan Masters Of Their Craft

A recent workshop organised by The Macallan which invited 10 bartenders from UK’s best bars and restaurants to craft bespoke bronze coasters. The coasters were indivudually modelled in clay using natural and found objects. Whilst at the foundry the group received a tour of the premises to see the lost wax casting process used to create their coasters and watched a bronze pour.

Team Away Days

A Scottish Government Team Away day in November 2019 at Powderhall Bronze.

‘ I really enjoyed the away day and thought the highlight was the Sculptures of each other. It was good to spend time in a partnership with only one colleague, but be within an enclosed room ‘safe space’ with all the team together. Which allowed for folk to communicate and make light hearted, good natured comments to each other across the floor.’
